The TexOx Project

The TexOx project is a collaboration between the Departments of Astrophysics at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Oxford. We are using the facilities of the University of Texas McDonald Observatory in West Texas, as well as several other telescopes worldwide, for various investigations in observational cosmology.

The project is currently split into two main strands:

TexOx Clusters project (TOC)

This project consists of following-up potential high-redshift clusters selected from overdensities of radio sources in the 1.4 GHz NVSS survey.

TexOx One Thousand (TOOT)

This survey aims to measure redshifts for 1000 radio sources from the 7C radio survey.
