These files contain the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) temperature maps at 280 GHz. Production of the maps are described in Dunner et al (2013), "The Atacama Cosmology Telescope: Data Characterization and Mapmaking". The southern 280 GHz maps are described in Vargas et al (2023), "Atacama Cosmology Telescope: Extragalactic Point Sources in the Southern Surveys at 150, 220 and 280 GHz observed between 2008-2010"

The 1-way maps have been used for the study of millimeter emission in compact sources. The calibration of the maps was done using 4-ways via large and small modes. Caution is advised for studies of large modes in the 2008 map which does not have a flat transfer function

The units of the maps are µK-CMB, expressing deviations from the average measured intensity as equivalent fluctuations in the CMB in units of micro-Kelvin.
