SCIENCE OBJECTIVES
TOPHAT will measure the anisotropy in the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMBR)
- This radiation comes from the Big Bang and carries information about the state of our Universe. TOPHAT should be able to tell us the expansion rate of the Universe , the principal components of the Universe, and the density of the Universe.
TOPHAT Long-Duration Antarctic Campaign Will Obtain 48 degree Diameter True Sky Map Centered at South Celestial Pole.
