Hello, everyone

Hello, everybody!

Picture of students
Sun and Earth

What an excellent earth and sun! They're orbiting perfectly!

Model balloon launch

Students looking at pictures of a model balloon launch. Soon I'll have pictures of the real thing for you!

The Telescope

I'm pointing to the telescope. This telescope works by using mirrors (instead of a lens) to focus the radiation.

Carefully looking at poster

You can see the telescope balancing on the top of the balloon if you look carefully at the poster.

Extreme Cold weather gear

The Extreme Cold Weather gear seems to be a little long in the sleeves for our volunteers!

Sunglasses

The sunglasses were kept in that little bag. Did anyone else think they were supercool?

Looking through the filter

A student looking through the filter. Filters work like sunglasses to sort the different types of radiation (visible light, microwave, ultra-violet, infra-red, radio, etc.).

Trying on gear

Everybody tries on a little something.
